SecurESIEE: An Innovative Program to Support Student Success
ESIEE Paris has launched a support program for undergraduate students, backed by the European Social Fund (FSE+) and the Île-de-France Region. The goal is to create an environment where all students have the best possible conditions for academic success.

Aware of these challenges, ESIEE Paris has created SecurESIEE, a program designed to provide individualized support and help students avoid common pitfalls in university life.
With a variety of initiatives - from peer tutoring to skill-building in spelling and math—students benefit from a personalized approach that addresses their specific needs.

Professional Spelling Certification:
Strengthening Communication Skills
Mastery of the French language is essential for future engineers.That’s why SecurESIEE includes a Professional Spelling Certification Workshop, offering spelling support and preparation for a nationally recognized certification. Over 10 weeks, students attend weekly one-hour sessions and gain access to an online platform for practice. The goal: achieve a minimum score of 500 points on the final exam, ensuring improved written communication and adding value to their professional qualifications.
The spelling certification is more than just a course - it's a mandatory requirement
for obtaining the ESIEE Paris engineering degree.
Peer Tutoring Led by Experienced Students
Tutoring is a powerful tool for helping students progress. As part of SecurESIEE, first-year students (E1) receive two hours of weekly tutoring from fourth-year students (E4)—paid through student contracts.
Organized in small groups of five, these sessions promote academic improvement, better learning strategies, and stronger personal organization.

Supervised Study Sessions: Structured Support at Day’s End
Support extends beyond the classroom with supervised study sessions for students needing extra help.
Each week, time slots are set aside in the timetable to offer a productive environment for individual work. Four subject-specific teachers (math, computer science, physics, electronics) are on hand to assist students in deepening their understanding.
In addition, during remote learning days, students benefit from a well-structured schedule combining guided personal work and live interactive sessions with teachers—providing consistency and ongoing support.
